Cottage Health System hosts it’s 22nd annual Baby Fair tomorrow, Sept. 15. More than 1500 people attend the event, with the majority being families-to-be and young families. There are also many children at the fair. They have 90 exhibitor spaces. A portion of those are children’s services departments with Cottage Health System, such as the Birth Center, Education and NICU. The majority are external organizations informing the public about their products and services. These range from selling baby clothing to information about starting a college fund. There is also a clown, magician, bouncer and entertainment for the kids to enjoy. Snacks, bike helmets, pedometers and T-shirts are available for purchase.
If you signed up with Rotaract Member Dana, be sure to arrive on time to help out at this great community event. Parking is available free of charge in the visitor lot on the south side of the hospital. Volunteer check-in is in front of the main entrance on the cement patio. Volunteers will get a free T-shirt. The theme includes “bubbles.” How could it not be fun?
