The Future of History Needs You

We have another chance to show off. In February, we spent a morning helping with odd jobs around the historic Stow House. The folks there were pretty impressed with how helpful we were, so when they had another project they wanted done right, they contacted us again. And, since they were quite nice and fun to work with, we said we’d help.

We need a dozen volunteers for Sunday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Stow House is getting ready for its barn warming, i.e. the grand opening of its new education center. They need help cleaning up so that the former walnut packing house and surrounding area will be ready for this milestone. The party (on Nov. 16) will include a BBQ, live music and "ranchyard fun," which I assume involves a tractor.

Please RSVP to Liz: liz@sbrotaract.com. Wear grubby clothes and bring gloves if you have them. Feel free to hang out at Lake Los Carneros afterward. It’s a beautiful, underused spot.
