Rotaract Club of Conejo Valley Celebrates Charter

We have a new Rotaract Club in District 5240! Welcome to the Rotaract Club of Conejo Valley, which has members from the Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village areas. Congrats!
The club celebrated its charter at Suki 7 on February 16. They also announced their officers for the 2009-2010 Rotaract year and ate a lot of sushi.
Carpinteria Morning Rotarian Wade Nomura spoke at the event.

Close One

Sorry to those who visited our site in the past few days and saw a generic portal advertising SB real estate. The domain expired but we’re back in action. If you see any problems or tried to email one of us @ sbrotaract.com and do not hear a response in a reasonable amount of time, just resend.

Shortest Night Hike Yet – Wednesday

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER.

Ready for a hike? It’s an easy one with a great payoff!

We’ll meet at the Panda Express in the La Cumbre Plaza shopping center at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11.

From there, we’ll carpool up to the Knapps Castle trailhead. Note: We’re not taking Snyder Trail (which is long). We’re starting from East Camino Cielo, which means that the hike is about 1 mile round trip.

Knapps Castle is some cool ruins. It will be a nice place to relax in the moonlight and maybe make friends with people who are ready to try their first night hike with us.

Dress warmly. Bring water and possibly a snack. Wear sensible shoes and bring a flashlight or headlamp. Friends welcome.

Please RSVP to Liz with your phone number at liz@sbrotaract.com. See you at Panda Express!
