I’m part of a team of graduate students at Northwestern University (in Evanston, IL) who are working on a project for Rotary International. We are gathering input from Rotaract members from the US and Canada. We are gathering feedback from a handful of clubs and are hoping yours will participate.
I’m writing to request that you distribute this survey to members of your Rotaract club and ask for their participation. The goal of the survey is to better understand Rotaractors’ attitudes toward Rotary as we tackle a project given to us by Rotary International’s general secretary, Ed Futa. Ready for a hike? It’s an easy one with a great payoff!
We’ll meet at the Panda Express in the La Cumbre Plaza shopping center at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
From there, we’ll carpool up to the Knapps Castle trailhead. Note: We’re not taking Snyder Trail (which is long). We’re starting from East Camino Cielo, which means that the hike is about 1 mile round trip.
Knapps Castle is some cool ruins. It will be a nice place to relax in the moonlight and maybe make friends with people who are ready to try their first night hike with us.
Dress warmly. Bring water and possibly a snack. Wear sensible shoes and bring a flashlight or headlamp. Friends welcome.
