Join us on a hike to Inspiration Point TONIGHT. We’ll meet at the Santa Barbara Mission at 6 p.m. by the fountain. We’ll carpool to the trailhead. Bring a flashlight/headlamp, water, warm clothes, sensible shoes and a snack if you get hungry. Friends and dogs are welcome. This is a moderate hike — a long gradual uphill and a rewarding downhill. Please RSVP to Liz at liz@sbrotaract.com if you plan to join. Include your phone number so we can call you if we don’t see you right at 6.

Nature + Exercise + Rotaract = Monthly Night Hike

When: Thursday, July 17, 2008. 6:30 p.m.
Where: Meet in front of Panda Express at La Cumbre Plaza (across from mall) at 6:30 p.m.
What: We’ll carpool to Aliso Canyon trail and walk between 3 and 5 miles depending on our group.
Bring: water, a flashlight or headlamp, snack, layered clothing, sensible shoes, cash in case we go to Cold Spring Tavern after!
If you have an annual Adventure Pass for parking, please bring that. Otherwise, we’ll have a couple.

Night Hike and Happy Hour

NIGHT HIKE: Monday, April 21, 6:30 p.m.
Join us for a just-after-the-full-moon hike on Monday. We’ll meet at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Coast Village Road in Montecito at 6:30 p.m. and then carpool to the trailhead. We’ll be hiking along McMenemy Trail, which is a great place to watch a sunset.
Bring a friend if you want. Bring a flashlight and some water. If you’d like to RSVP, please reply to this email with your phone number.
POOL & PINTS: Thursday, April 24, 6 p.m.
We’re having a happy hour at Dargan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant (18 E. Ortega) on Thursday, April 24th at 6 p.m. There will be 1/2 off pool, 1/2 off selected appetizers and live Irish music for those of you who want to get your Irish jig on.
Drink specials include: $1 off Guinness (isn’t that reason enough?) and other selected beers, house wine and all Irish Whiskeys. Hope to see you all there! Cheers!
