Here’s to 2010! The fun starts with our first meeting on Tuesday, January 5, at 6:30 PM at Silvergreens in Santa Barbara.
There will be no meeting on Tuesday, December 15.
Instead, we will celebrate together at our annual holiday party on Friday, December 18.

The Rotaract Club of Santa Barbara holiday party is home to one of the three best white elephant gift exchanges in town, tasty morsels and lots of fabulous 20-somethings. We’re having a "Taste of Santa Barbara" wine night on Saturday, October 18th at 8:00 p.m. at Rotaractor Liz Werhane’s house. Now’s your chance to sample some local vino, nibble on some tasty snacks and meet some fellow Rotaractors from the San Diego Club. All you have to do is bring a snack/appetizer to share. And, if you’re so inclined, bring something that epitomizes Santa Barbara to reflect the theme of the night. Need suggestions about what to bring or you want to RSVP? It’s time to celebrate another year of good friends and good service! We’re turning two and having a party on Tuesday, July 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the home of Scott and Lisa Burns, a couple of local Rotary members.
You should come! Enjoy great food, and drinks while networking and hanging out with friends. Plus it’s the perfect opportunity to bring new people you know who are interested in joining. (It’s a more enticing event for newbies to come to than an outdoor clean up project. Let’s ease them in.)

For those of you who skimmed past our email in your inbox, or aren’t on the list to begin with, our July meeting is tonight at 6:30 PM at the Sharkeez back patio (416 State St). This is going to be one of our biggest and most important meetings of the year so don’t miss it!
